Charlie has been emotionally scarred and she just can't seem to lower her guard. Charlie is a mouse and that is the best way to describe how she is in the beginning of the book. His patience was outstanding and I just adored him all the more for it. I loved that he was so gentle with Charlotte always putting her feelings first.
He was a bear of a man who went after what he wanted. When Gabe becomes Charlotte's new boss things start to get interesting. Gabe is an ex-rugby player and currently a wealthy business man who helps companies which are drowning. Technically Gabe and Charlie's story starts off in the same time line as Rock Addiction and then moves forward. Charlotte is Molly's best friend whom we'd met in the first book. Rock Hard is the second full length novel in her Rock Kiss series books.
